Q. How do I book an appointment with Greig Associates?

A. Our X-ray service is on a ‘walk-in’ basis. Any other procedure can be booked by phoning the relevant office. Click here for contact information.

Q. How do I cancel or re-schedule an appointment?

A. Please call the location where your appointment is booked to make any changes.We request 24 hours notice of any cancellations or changes to your appointment.Please note a $75 no-show fee will be charged for a missed appointment or late cancellation.

Q. Will I receive a reminder call for my appointment?

A. Yes,you will receive an automated call two business days before your appointment. Please make sure and tell our staff at the time of booking if you would prefer not to receive this call.

Q. How long will I normally have to wait for an appointment?

A. This depends on various factors including what the procedure is, whether you are flexible regarding appointment time and even the time of year! Our staff will endeavour to find the earliest and most convenient appointment.

Q. Will the technician tell me if they see anything wrong in my examination?

A. Technologists and technicians will not provide or discuss results. Images will be read by our radiologists and a report will be sent to your doctor. If there is anything that requires immediate attention, your referring physician will be contacted immediately.

Q. Can I see my images?

A. No, the X-ray, ultrasound or mammogram must be reviewed by our radiologist and a report will be sent to your doctor’s office.

Q. When will my doctor get a report?

A. Usually within 1 to 2 working days depending on the preferences of your physician. We fax most reports, however if your physician prefers reports to be mailed rather than faxed, this will take longer.
